Heidelberg to celebrate MLK Day

 

TIFFIN - Heidelberg College will pay tribute to ideals of the late Dr. Martin Luther King during its annual campus celebration at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, in Ohl Concert Hall, Brenneman Music Hall.

"Let Freedom Ring," a tribute in music, word and song, will feature performances by Heidelberg students and faculty. Students Karina Browne, Lesha Gray, Tediyra Barton-Harris, David Glover, Celeste Goliath, Gugu Malusalila and James Maxwell will be among the performers. Also participating in the program are a jazz combo, the Heidelberg Symphonic Band and the Black Student Union Step Team.

The public is invited to the performance, free of charge. The Academic Enhancement Committee is the sponsor.
