Internship Program

The Office of Career Development administers the Internship Program to provide students the opportunity to obtain practical on-the-job experience while earning up to 15 hours of academic credit. Internships are available to students in good academic standing who have demonstrated the ability to produce high quality work.

Heidelberg College is committed to the principle that student internships involving practical, real-world work experience can represent a valuable part of the collegiate experience. Faculty members are willing to supervise and help arrange a broad range of intern experiences in such settings as business and artistic organizations, government agencies, communications media, and public interest groups.  Students are sometimes offered full time employment as a direct result of an internship experience.

To learn more about the internship program, to meet with someone to explore available internship opportunities, or to obtain a copy of the Heidelberg College Internship Program Handbook, please call the Career Development Office at 419.448.2058.  If you need a copy of the Internship Contract, please click on the link below.
