The Heidelberg College H-Association, which is open to all athletes who have earned a varsity letter at Heidelberg College, has more than 1,700 members. A number of friends of Heidelberg's athletic program have been made honorary "H" members in recognition of their contributions to the program.

The H-Association was established for the purpose of improving the quality of Heidelberg athletics by involving the many athletes and friends of the college in the athletic program.

The H-Association has been able to make substantial contributions to Heidelberg athletics through the funding of the Heidelberg College Athletic Hall of Fame, recognition banquets and awards for student-athletes and coaches, as well as special honors for championship teams.
