Services & ProgramsHere's how the Office of Alumni Relations can serve you! |
| Stay Connected and Keep in Touch The Alumni Office attempts to maintain contact information (addresses, phone numbers and e-mail addresses) of all living alumni. You can help by informing us when you move and by locating alumni who are "lost." Also, there is a web page where you can search for alumni e-mail addresses that we have on record. |
| Heidelberg Bulletin The Heidelberg Bulletin is distributed to all Heidelberg alumni and friends three times per year. Through this publication we try to keep you informed of current happenings at Heidelberg, updates on classmates and all alumni (in the Class Notes), and other important progress of your Alma Mater. Remember, we need your correct address to send you the Bulletin! Are you interested in keeping in touch with classmates? Were you your class secretary? If so, we want you! Please contact the Alumni Office about how you can help. |

| Alumni Weekend In the past, this event occurred during the first weekend of June. However, to accommodate alumni who still have school and other commitments, the celebration of Alumni Weekend has been changed to the weekend after Father's Day in June (generally the third weekend of the month). This is the biggest annual alumni event at Heidelberg, with over 500 alumni and friends returning to campus for a weekend of reunion festivities. Traditional weekend "Hei-lights" include Alumni Luncheon (with the presentation of the Alumni Awards, the recognition of reunion year classes and the performance of the Alumni Choir); the "H" Association sponsored golf outing; Alumni College (featuring current and/or faculty and staff presenters, a well as alumni volunteers), the Parade of Classes; class dinners; the Remembrance Ceremony (the planting of the tree in honor of deceased alumni and friends); and the special recognition of the 50-year class. New features for the weekend include: the Medallion Club Luncheon and Program (a club for those that have celebrated their 50th reunion); a theme dinner and entertainment on Friday evening and much more! |
| Homecoming Homecoming "Hei-lights" include traditional favorites such as the Homecoming Carnival, the football game and the Alumni Tent for halftime. New features of the weekend include: the Homecoming Alumni Award Brunch (where the newly established Alumni Achievement Award will be presented and reunion year classes will be recognized); the celebration of the 10, 5 and 1-year class reunions. All alumni and friends are invited to come "home" for this exciting weekend! |
| Regional Alumni Chapter Events Throughout the year, alumni events are hosted around the country by various alumni chapters. You can help the Office of alumni Relations coordinate and plan activities for your region of the country. Alumni gatherings may be receptions with college officials, informal dinners, and or sporting events. The idea is to have fun and stay connected to the college and other alumni in your geographical area. |

| Heidelberg Annual Fund All students at Heidelberg have benefited over the years through the support of 'Berg alumni. The Heidelberg Fund program is essential for enriching each student's Heidelberg experience, in and out of the classroom, including financial aid, upkeep of facilities, academic needs and daily operating costs. With such a small alumni body, Heidelberg relies on everyone's input. |
| Fellows Organization The Heidelberg College Fellows Organization, with more than 1,900 members, is a special way alumni can support Alumni Annual Giving and enjoy unique benefits at the same time. The Fellows consists of nine different levels of giving clubs (plus six corporate levels), which all assist the mission and advancement of Heidelberg. Memberships for alumni in their first five years after graduating is only $50 annually. |
| Student Recruitment The future of Heidelberg College depends on a continued supply of qualified, interested students. You can encourage potential students to take a closer look at the 'Berg and describe the benefits of attending a small, liberal arts college. Alumni recommendations are welcomed and encouraged! Call the Admission Office with your information on prospective students, and encourage those students to peruse our admission information on the World Wide Web. The application fee is waived for students referred by Alumni. |
| "H"Association The Athletic Office sends information annually for the Hall of Fame and other athletic activities. To make sure all former 'Berg lettermen/women receive "H" Association mail, the Alumni Office must have current addresses. |
| Master's Degree & Lifelong Learning Alumni Graduates in these programs are encouraged to participate in all alumni events and programs. Please keep the college up-to-date with your address, occupation, awards, etc. |
