Heidelberg Fund
TRADITION, SUCCESS & PRIDE THE HEIDELBERG FUND OF HEIDELBERG COLLEGEThe annual giving program of Heidelberg College is called the "Heidelberg Fund.". Alumni and friends can take pride in unrestricted gifts that help Heidelberg remain a top-tier higher institution in the U.S. News & World Report's annual rankings of colleges and universities. This pride can be attributed to the tradition and success of alumni who show their admiration for Heidelberg by joining one of the many gift clubs in the Heidelberg Fund. Each time an alumna/us contributes to Heidelberg, increases the contribution a corporation or foundation may give to the college. Participation among alumni shows their loyalty and commitment to Heidelberg. This year's Heidelberg Fund drive began on July 1, 2006 and ends June 30, 2007. The goal is $1 million.
Tuition and fees cover only a portion of the cost of a Heidelberg education. Gifts to the Heidelberg Fund bridge the gap. The Heidelberg Fund consists of, annual, unrestricted gifts from alumni, parents and friends; these contributions are used during the fiscal year in which they are received. Restriced gifts to the Heidelberg Fund support specific areas of college life such as athletics, music, or student life.

Your unrestricted gift to the Heidelberg Fund benefits academic, student and faculty priorities by providing the flexibility to direct your support to areas of need and opportunity:- supplement student financial aid

- augment student organizational budgets
Matching Gift contributions
Many alumni and friends work for companies that match employee contributions. Some companies may match your gift dollar-for-dollar, while others will contribute two dollars for every dollar given.The Heidelberg Fund may be significantly increased when a company matching gift form is included with your gift. Gifts from spouses or retired employees also may be matched. To make a match, please include a form from your company's personnel office with your gift.
