Dr. Daniel Esterline

Dr. Esterline has been a faculty member at Heidelberg College since 1993. He received a Ph.D. in Synthetic Organic Chemistry at Miami University, a Master of Science Degree and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Wright State University. Additional educational experience includes over two years at Wright State's School of Medicine.
Dr. Esterline maintains an active undergraduate research program along with teaching organic chemistry (CHM 201/202), biochemistry (CHM 408), senior seminar (CHM 422), and fundamental chemistry (CHM 103). Dan is also actively involved in leadership roles on campus and in the local community. He is also involved with grant writing for the funding of modern laboratory instruments as well as faculty/student undergraduate research. Recently, several students have completed undergraduate research projects under Dr. Esterline's tutelage.
