Job-Hunt.Org: Contains general information, as well as links to other job-search sites (including a subject-organized list of specialized job sites).

JobWeb: Created by the National Association of Colleges and Employers, this site offers resume-writing information, along with an online career fair.

Quintessential Careers: Full-service job-information site with articles, links, etc. Includes a list of the top ten job sites.

Writers and Editors: Information on writing careers from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Career Plan for Fiction Writers: Contains tips on writing, submitting manuscripts, dealing with editors, etc.

Creative Freelancers: Connects freelancers with publishers and editors through an online database.

Graduate School Information

Graduate Record Examination (GRE): The official site for the examination required by most graduate programs in the United States. Contains information on the general, subject and writing tests, as well as practical tips on taking the tests successfully.
