Women's Soccer Places Three On All-OAC Academic Team The Heidelberg College women's soccer team has three representatives on the 2006 Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference list. Leading the way on the first team is senior Kasey Hill (Cincinnati, Ohio / School of the Performing Arts) and Megan Morris (Vincent, Ohio / Warren), while Samantha Pawlak (Willoughby, Ohio / South) was named to the honorable mention team. It is the third-straight all-conference academic nod for Hill, earning a spot on the honorable mention team in 2004 and 2005. Hill boosts an overall grade point average of 3.57 as an athletic training major. For the season, Hill led the team with seven goals. Combined with one assist, she also led the team with 15 points. Hill, a senior forward, scored her lone game-winning goal of the season and first since her sophomore season Sept. 9 against Thomas More, a Heidelberg 1-0 victory. Hill is also a three-time all-league honoree, earning a spot in the honorable mention team this season. Morris, a sophomore defender, helped to anchor the Berg defense in 2006. A two-sport athlete, Morris maintains a perfect 4.0 gpa while majoring in while double majoring in accounting and psychology. Pawlak joins Morris as a first time honoree. The senior goalkeeper led the way between the pipes this season with 127 saves. Pawlak finished second in saves in the OAC as a senior and led the league in saves in each of her first three years. Pawlak caries a 3.40 gpa while studying health and physical education.
