Pair Earn All-OAC Accolades For Heidelberg Women's Soccer

Heidelberg College senior Kasey Hill (Cincinnati, Ohio / School of the Performing Arts) and junior Tara Kirsch (Parma, Ohio / Normandy) of the women's soccer team received recognition as All-Ohio Athletic Conference Honorable Mention athletes. It is the third-straight year that Hill has received a nod on the all-conference team, garnering second team accolades in her sophomore and junior seasons.

For the season, Hill led the team with seven goals. Combined with one assist, she also led the team with 15 points. Hill scored her lone game-winning goal of the season and first since her sophomore season Sept. 9 against Thomas More, a Heidelberg 1-0 victory.

In finishing her career for the Berg, Hill has led the team in goals every year, finding the back of the net 30 times. With an additional nine assists, Hill finished with a total of 69 points.

Kirsch finished the season having started all 18 games for Heidelberg, placing five shots in 10 attempts on goal, but was known for her efforts in keeping the Berg defense organized. Kirsch is a natural forward but was moved to sweeper to help solidify the defense.
