In preparation for the upcoming season, the Heidelberg College volleyball team spent a day of preseason working on its team unity away from the volleyball court. The team visited the Medina County Career Center in Medina, Ohio to take part in the Medina County Challenge Course.

The Medina County Challenge Course uses a powerful and integrated "learning by doing" approach. The team participated in activities and initiatives that encouraged critical thinking and risk taking. As a team, the Berg learned to solve problems, make decisions, set goals and develop communication skills in an interactive and challenging environment.

The Berg, under the direction of seventh-year head coach Jason Miller, opens up the 2006 season at the Capital Tournament Sept. 1-2.
