Volleyball Picked To Finish Seventh In OAC Preseason Coaches Poll The Heidelberg College volleyball team was picked to finish seventh in the 10-team Ohio Athletic Conference in 2006 as voted on by league head coaches. Defending league champion and NCAA Tournament participant Ohio Northern was chosen number one followed by Capital and Baldwin-Wallace. Otterbein was picked fourth while Muskingum and Mount Union rounded out the top-six teams. Rounding out the final three spots in the preseason poll is John Carroll, Marietta and Wilmington, respectively. The Berg, under the direction of seventh-year head coach Jason Miller, returns just two starters from a season ago in seniors Breena McCool (Tiffin, Ohio / Old Fort) and Megan Kempf (Olmsted Twp., Ohio / St. Joseph Academy). Heidelberg finished the 2005 campaign with a 17-16 overall record and a 3-6 mark in league action. The Berg made its 14th-overall appearance in the OAC Tournament, including its fourth-consecutive with Miller at the helm.
