Heidelberg Drops Two At No. 19 Marietta

The Heidelberg College softball team lost a doubleheader to nationally ranked Marietta College.  The Berg lost game one 3-0 and game two 13-0 in five innings.  After the doubleheader Marietta moves to 25-7 overall and 10-4 in the Ohio Athletic Conference, while the Berg falls to 5-29 overall in 2-14 in the OAC.

In game one Marietta’s pitcher Kristen Quintana threw a no hitter to help the Pioneers to a 3-0 victory.  In game two Heidelberg was able to manage two hits but it was not enough as they fell 13-0.

Recording hits for the Tricolor was Coree Price (Prospect, Ohio / North Union) and Andrea Gerdeman (Ottawa, Ohio / Ottawa-Glandorf).
