Greg Tyson, Jr. Tabbed OAC Field Athlete Of The Week

Junior Greg Tyson, Jr. (Lima, Ohio / Senior) of the Heidelberg College men's track and field team has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men’s Field Athlete of the Week for the week of February 5, 2007. Freshman Julius Higginbotham (Elyria, Ohio / Elyria) and Tyson have now kept the OAC Field Athlete of the Week award in Tiffin for two-straight weeks.

Tyson is also a member of the men's basketball team at Heidelberg. He stepped away from the hardwood on Friday, Feb. 2 and leaped to a second place finish in the long jump with a mark of 22'7.25" in the unscored Fazoli’s Open hosted by the University of Findlay.
