Heidelberg Dominates Otterbein

The Heidelberg College men’s tennis team picked up a win against Otterbein College defeating them 8-1.  With the win this moves the Berg record to 9-6 overall and 5-4 in the Ohio Athletic Conference, while the Cardinals fall to 4-13 overall and 2-7 in conference.

In doubles play the Student Princes did not lose a match.  The winning teams were; Paul Evans (Manchester, England / Holy Cross) and Maxwell Norris (Toledo, Ohio / Springfield) by a score of 8-2, Ahmad Al-Turk (Sandusky, Ohio / Perkins) and Luke Florence (Tiffin, Ohio / Calvert) with a score 8-5 and Eric Guindon (Martinsville, Ohio / Wilmington) and Evan Fahning (Milan, Ohio / Edison) won by forfeit.

In singles play Norris, Guindon, Al-Turk, Florence all won in straight sets.  While Fahning scored a win by forfeit.
