Mount Union Takes OAC Opener From Men’s Tennis

The Heidelberg College men’s tennis team suffered an 8-1 setback to visiting Mount Union College today. The match marked the home and league opener for the Berg on the 2007 season. The setback drops Heidelberg to 4-3 overall and 0-1 in league action, while the Purple Raiders improve to 10-3 overall and 1-0 in the OAC.

Senior Paul Evans (Manchester, England / Holy Cross) and Maxwell Norris (Toledo, Ohio / Springfield) earned the lone point for the Berg. The duo opened action on the day with an 8-5 victory at first doubles.
