Men’s Golf Has Strong Showing At Muskingum Invite Freshman Kevin Lenhart (Arlington, Ohio / Arlington) shot a team-best 149 (78, 71) to lead the Heidelberg College men’s golf team to a seventh place finish at the 2007 Muskingum College Invitational March 23-24, 2007. The invitational was hosted by Muskingum College at the Eagle Sticks Golf Course in Zanesville, Ohio. Ohio Wesleyan won the team championship with a 583, while the Berg shot a 629.
Lenhart tied for 11th, while Josh Seckal (Richwood, Ohio / North Union) shot an 80 in the first round and retuned to fire a 78 in round two for a two-day total of 158, good enough for a tie for 36th.
Senior Garrett Humes (Delaware, Ohio / Buckeye Valley) shot a 159 (79, 80) and Joel Thompson (Byesville, Ohio / Meadowbrook) and Craig Meyer (Norwalk, Ohio / St. Paul) recorded a 163 (80, 83) and 169 (86, 83), respectively.
Heidelberg will return to action at the Capital Invitational March 30-31.
