The Berg Suffers Setback At LaGrange

The LaGrange College baseball team broke a scoreless tie with five runs in the bottom of the fourth inning and went on to top Heidelberg College 10-0 in a non-conference match up in LaGrange, Ga. The win improved the Panthers to 8-7 overall, while the Berg fell to 5-3.

Heidelberg finished with just two hits on the day. Recording a hit in the setback was sophomore L. B. Emrhein (Seven Hills, Ohio / Padua Franciscan) and freshman Mike Blanchard (Mansfield, Ohio / Madison).
