Degree Requirements

Academic degree requirements for undergraduate programs are described in the Undergraduate College Catalog.  To complete a degree students take courses in a several academic disciplines as part of their general education requirements, courses in their major and/or minor, and courses of their choice called electives.  The number of courses or credit hours required in each category vary based on the degree program selected, i.e. Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Music.  Students in the Honors program complete a series of seminars as part of their requirements.

Graduate program degree requirements are described in the Graduate Studies Catalog (link).  Each graduate program has required core classes and electives as part of the curriculum, i.e. Master of Business Administration, Master of Arts in Counseling, Master of Arts in Education (link to degree requirements of catalog for each degree).
