NPS planner meets with Metroparks, advisory commission

The following pictures depict the Sept. 19 visit of Sändra Washington, National Park Service chief planner from Omaha, Neb., to the Lamb Center Shelter at Side Cut Metropark for a preliminary meeting with the staff of the Metroparks of the Toledo Area and members of the Metropark Advisory Commission for Fallen Timbers Battlefield.

Sändra Washington of the NPS explains the planning process that the Metroparks staff and a planning team must follow over the next couple of years.

Washington further explains the implications of the National Historic Site designation and the planning implications of the language of the bill that conferred the designation.
